As part of the exhibition From the Inside Out and the Outside In, Mary Sullivan will give artist talk along an outdoor/indoor trail on Bere Island, inviting people to engage with the work in its landscape. The talk will reflect on everyday aspects of island life, including connection, distance, and infrastructure, with a focus on the new sculptural work Across the Divide. By situating the work within its environment, the event aims to open space for dialogue and reflection on experiences that are already familiar in the community.
