Military History Tour

Take a guided tour of Lonehort Battery, which was operational during World War One. It is the largest of seven gun batteries built on Bere Island by the British Admiralty. The battery is surrounded by a deep moat and still contains two 6″ coastal artillery guns.

The Borderline project by Shiro Masuyama was commissioned for Derry-Londonderry City of Culture 2013. It features a converted caravan interior divided into two mirrored sections representing Irish and British cultures, with paired objects highlighting similarities and differences.

In this new original piece from Púca for adults The Holding Bones, Lawlor, veteran performer for nearly 30 years, counts her ancestors on her very bones and brings them back to life on stage. Vital theatrical storytelling and live drawing invites you to meditate on family, memory and rituals of grieving and how to embrace the bittersweet turns of the cycle of life.
