This cultural exchange brings together the Bere Island Choir and the Crosshaven Community Choir in a special collaboration that has become a highlight of recent festivals. Under the direction of Dr. Eva Mc Mullan Glossop, both choirs will rehearse together over the weekend, with the visiting choir learning pieces selected by the Bere Island singers.
The collaboration culminates in a shared musical contribution to Sunday Mass, celebrated by Fr. Noel Spring and broadcast live on Bere Island Community Radio 100.1 FM. A moment of harmony, connection, and shared tradition at the heart of the festival weekend.

Dancing at the Crossroads

A revival of the old tradition of dancing at the crossroads. Live music by Lorg, West Cork Musicians playing traditional Irish music.

Long Table Lunch, Music & Storytelling
Location: The Drill Hall
Booking is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance. A suggested donation will be recommended on the day.
An informal lunch to celebrate the closing of the festival. A chance to share memories and make plans to meet again for the Bere Island Arts Festival 2025.
As part of the closing celebrations, there will be a musical and literary collaboration between Conal Creedon, Eva McMullan Glossop, and The Oars.
