An informal lunch to celebrate the closing of the festival. A chance to share memories and make plans to meet again for the Bere Island Arts Festival 2024.
As part of the closing celebrations, Conal Creedon and Dr. Eva McMullan will perform in collaboration with The Bere Island and the visiting Crosshaven Community Choir.
Dancing at the Crossroads
A revival of the old tradition of dancing at the crossroads. Live music by Lorg, West Cork Musicians playing traditional Irish music.

Sarah Walker Exhibition
Sarah Walker is a visual artist living and working on the Beara Peninsula, West Cork. She grew up in Dublin and studied Fine Art Painting at the National College of Art and Design. In 1991 she moved to live permanently in Beara and opened the Sarah Walker Gallery in 2000.

Islanders’ Art Exhibition
Four Bere Island Artists come together to showcase their work. This exhibition will feature a variety of artwork inspired by Bere Island and its surroundings, including drawings, photographic images, sculptures, and quilting.
Location: Lecture Theatre (Former Camp Church)
Exhibition - The Hold
An exhibition by visual artist Mary Sullivan in collaboration with Bere Island Women Create.
Through the lens of quilt making, performance, written word, sound, and photography, the Bere Island women reflect on the hold that the island has over them.
Location: The Drill Hall (10 minute walk from Rerrin Village)
Island Voices Connect
The Bere Island Choir will be joined by the Crosshaven Community Choir at Sunday mass at St. Michael’s Church. Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Noel Spring and the choirs will be directed by Dr. Eva McMullan. This will be broadcast live on Bere Island Community Radio 100.1 FM Click Here to listen online.

Display of children's art competition entries
Bere Island Arts Festival will be running an art competition for the children of Scoil Mhichíl Naofa. The children are asked to present work on what the island means to them through art and written word.
